Connect Nuki and use locks

Connect your Nuki account to the selected workspace. Account connection and usable lock capacity are separate: one account may contain several locks, while capacity is booked per lock.

Before you start

You need permission to manage smart-home integrations and access to the Nuki account. The specific lock, its connectivity and, where required, its Smart Hosting Service must support the intended use.

Connect the account

  1. Open Smart home integrations → Add connection, then Connect Nuki.
  2. Enter a clear connection name.
  3. Start the Nuki connection in the new tab and approve the requested access at Nuki.
  4. Return to octopancy and check the successful connection. Opening the Nuki tab alone does not confirm completion.
  5. Open the connection, review imported devices and assign supported locks to their location.

Control and check the result

Configure a matching control on the unit. Under Locations → your location → Controls, operate supported locks with the required permissions. Reconciled state determines the action offered. Unknown state or a disconnected live connection disables it.

Command accepted does not mean the door is physically open. Check the subsequent report. Effective personal access may block direct administrative control.

Repair a connection

Check the connection and its status message. Use reauthorization when offered and required. Disconnecting in octopancy does not automatically revoke consent in the Nuki account.
